Easy Switch

Switching Your Direct Deposit and Automatic Payments are as Easy as 1, 2, 3

 

Open your ProMedica Federal Credit Union account.

Complete the New Member application, Direct Deposit Authorization form and order your free checks and debit/ATM card. Your checks should arrive within 10 working days.

     
 

Let outstanding checks and automatic withdrawals clear in your old bank.

Your next check will continue to go to your old bank account. For the pay period after that, you will receive an actual, a paper check will be mailed to you, which you must deposit. Make sure that you have left enough money in your old account to cover any outstanding checks and automatic payments on that bank.

If you have payments automatically withdrawn from your account each month, complete the Automatic Withdrawal Change form in the Easy Switch Kit to notify these companies when to begin withdrawing from your PFCU account and we will mail it for you. Your credit union representative will advise you on the timing of this.

     
 

Close your old account.

Complete the Account Closure form to notify your old bank and request a check for the remaining balance.

Destroy your old checks and ATM cards.
